On October 30, 2025, at the first Southeast Asia App Summit held by TikTok in Vietnam, the platform announced that its monthly active users in the Southeast Asian region had exceeded 460 million.

Among them, Indonesia contributed 160 million users, Vietnam reached 70 million, and Thailand recorded 50 million, with these countries leading the growth rate in the region. The summit attracted 300 industry leaders, and TikTok also signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnamese government to jointly promote the development of the local digital ecosystem. Data shows that two-thirds of users in Southeast Asia discover new applications through TikTok, and 45% of users engage in deeper exploration of related content.
